If you already use Samsara to manage your vehicle fleet, this integration brings live GPS tracking into your Zaui back office. Once installed and configured, Zaui pulls vehicle location data from Samsara so your dispatchers and operations staff can see where every mapped vehicle is, without switching to the Samsara dashboard.

When a booking notification or confirmation email is sent for a departure that has a mapped vehicle assigned, your customers can receive a live tracking link in that message. Clicking the link opens a Samsara-hosted map showing the vehicle's real-time position. No app download, no Zaui login, and no Samsara account is required for your customers to use it. Tracking links activate automatically within the 2 hours before departure by default. All customers on the same departure share one link.

To set up the integration, install the app from the Marketplace, enter your Samsara API token (generated in the Samsara dashboard under Settings, then API Tokens, with write access), and map each Samsara vehicle to the corresponding vehicle in Zaui. Vehicles that are not mapped will not be tracked and do not produce errors. After a successful connection test, Zaui displays the number of vehicles visible in your connected Samsara account.

This integration requires an active Samsara account with vehicles enrolled. Zaui does not supply or manage GPS hardware or the Samsara subscription. Only one GPS tracking provider can be active per Zaui tenant at a time. The tracking page your customers see is hosted and branded by Samsara.
