GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification) is the open standard that Google Maps, Apple Maps, Transit App, and hundreds of other trip planning services use to display transit and tour schedules. This integration automatically generates a GTFS feed for your routes and schedules and publishes it to a permanent public URL, so trip planning apps can pick it up and list your business at no cost.

Once you install the app from the Zaui Marketplace, your feed is generated automatically every night from your active routes and schedules. There is no manual updating required. By default, all active point-to-point, timetable-based activities are included, and you can opt individual activities or entire categories in or out from your activity settings.

Every feed is validated against the GTFS standard before it publishes. If a feed fails validation, you are notified in your Zaui back office and the previous valid feed stays live until the issue is corrected.

This integration produces static schedule data only. It does not include real-time vehicle positions, delays, or service alerts. GTFS Realtime is a separate specification and is not part of this integration.
